Day 21 - Shepherds
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Shepherd of the flock,
help us not to be blind to those in our midst
who need our love and care.
Help us not to exclude anyone from
the love offered to Your flock.
Help us to look afresh at the shepherds in our lives,
those gentle enough to be the care givers.
Remind us to say thank you for their gentleness.
And teach us to be gentle enough.
Gentle enough
to tend the hurt and broken.
Gentle enough
to care for all your sheep.
Gentle enough
to gain the trust of the lost and forgotten.
Teach and help us to be gentle enough.
Amen
